We kept the tradition going and the 30th annual Tufts Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament was held again on Friday 10/16/20 at Brookmeadow Country Club. Thanks again to Brookmeadow for a great course, friendly personnel and unsurpassed hospitality. The event started on a high note as we had a ceremonial tee shot by 4 of the 2020 seniors; Ryan Day, Justin Mills, Harrison O'Brien, and Brent Greeley. They all hit great drives right down the middle.
Congratulations to longest drive winner Bill Canon with a bomb of a drive on 18. Bob "Pinseeker" Kenny took home the closest to the pin and Connor McDavitt won the putting contest.
The results of our blind draw tournament are:
1. Bill Carroll, Mike Ward, Adam Kacamburas, Al Shields
2. Bob Kenny, Adam Telian, Bill Canon, Joe Casey
3. Eric Sholds, Matt Zipoli, Dan O'Neill, Bob Clarke
Thanks to all those who participated in our silent auction to help support the program and we remain grateful to the alums who donated the prizes. Let’s hope for a successful 2021 Baseball Season and another great day of golf and camaraderie next October at the 31st Tufts Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament.
Stay Safe,
Coach Casey
